Responsibilities
* Handling materials with care and precision, ensuring accurate picking and packing of orders
* Operating forklift trucks and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively
* Managing stock levels using warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
* Loading and unloading goods from lorries, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of products
* Organising stock in designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Conducting quality control checks to verify product integrity and compliance with standards
* Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and labelling
* Supporting team members in achieving daily operational targets through effective communication and collaboration
Experience
* Proven experience working within a warehouse environment
* Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation, including forklift driving (certification preferred)
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, often involving loads up to 25kg or more
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and quality control
* Prior experience in picking & packing, stocking, and load & unload operations is highly desirable
