About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Letchworth, is looking for experienced TIG Welders / Fabricators to join their busy workshop team.
This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder looking for long-term, stable employment with a successful manufacturing business.
You will be working in a workshop-based fabrication environment, producing high-quality precision components and fabricated products to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out TIG welding and fabrication to a high standard.
Work with a variety of materials and components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Prepare, fit and weld components accurately.
Manufacture precision components to customer specifications.
Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
Ensure welds and finished products meet required quality standards.
Use workshop tools and equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
Previous TIG welding experience is essential.
Previous fabrication or workshop experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
