How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CAD Data Quality Analyst | CATIA | TCE | 3DEXPERIENCE | Automotive

    We are currently recruiting for a CAD Data Quality Analyst to join a leading automotive manufacturer based in Gaydon.

    Working within the Virtual Build & Test Operations Team, you will support the delivery of the Virtual Series across multiple vehicle platforms, ensuring the quality and integrity of engineering geometry and CAD data throughout the vehicle development process.

    This role focuses on identifying issues within CAD data and geometry, inspecting models, capturing concerns, and working closely with engineering teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring potential issues are identified early, reducing downstream programme risks and supporting the successful delivery of future vehicle programmes.

    The Role

    As a CAD Data Quality Analyst, you will review and inspect engineering geometry using CAD and PLM systems, identifying quality concerns and compatibility issues before they impact programme delivery.

    Once issues are identified, you will document and track them through JIRA, ensuring engineers have a clear understanding of the concern and supporting resolution activities where required.

    You'll be part of a team of eight but will be expected to work independently, managing your own workload and taking ownership of issue investigation and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Review and inspect CAD geometry to identify quality and compatibility issues.

    * Analyse engineering data across multiple vehicle platforms.

    * Capture, document and track issues using JIRA.

    * Clearly communicate findings to engineering stakeholders.

    * Participate in CAD review activities and support issue resolution.

    * Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

    * Support the delivery of Virtual Series activities.

    * Drive continuous improvement in CAD quality processes and standards.

    * Ensure issues are accurately recorded and managed through to closure.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    * Strong automotive engineering background.

    * Experience using CATIA V5.

    * Experience using Teamcenter Engineering (TCE) and/or Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).

    * Good understanding of vehicle geometry and engineering data.

    * Experience reviewing, inspecting or validating CAD models.

    * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

    * Excellent attention to detail.

    * Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

    * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    * Confident learning new tools, processes and technologies.

    Ideal Candidate Background

    We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

    * Previous experience as a CAD Data Quality Analyst, CAD Quality Engineer, DMU Analyst, Virtual Validation Engineer, or similar.

    * A design engineering background with experience checking and validating geometry.

    * A quality engineering background combined with strong CAD knowledge.

    * Experience identifying issues in CAD models and communicating them effectively to engineering teams.

    What We're Looking For

    The successful candidate will be:

    ✅ Curious and eager to learn new skills and tools
    ✅ A strong communicator who can engage effectively with engineers and stakeholders
    ✅ Detail-focused with a passion for quality
    ✅ Comfortable challenging issues and driving improvements
    ✅ Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

    Candidates who have previously been successful in similar positions typically combine strong automotive knowledge with CAD expertise and possess excellent communication skills, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

    If you have experience with CATIA, TCE and/or 3DEXPERIENCE, a strong automotive background, and enjoy identifying and resolving CAD data quality issues, we'd love to hear from you.
