How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

You’ll play a key role in supporting property sales progressions by:

    * Responding to customer enquiries and guiding them through the sales process.

    * Administering shared ownership applications, staircasing and voluntary/right to acquire sales.

    * Managing data entry for properties and buyers across various platforms.

    * Liaising with buyers, solicitors, estate agents and internal teams to keep sales on track and answering low level enquiries.

    * Providing vital admin support including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and assisting with reports.

For full details of the position and person specification, please refer to the Role Profile.

    Working Hours

Monday to Friday, office hours. This role follows a partially agile working model offering a blend of office and home‑based work (once fully trained) to support flexibility and work‑life balance, with an expectation that 3 days are worked from our Head Office, Clifton Place. You will be expected to work from the office while you settle into your role.

    About You

We would like to hear from you if you are:

    * Experienced in a customer-facing role and confident communicating over the phone and in person.

    * Knowledgeable of the property sales process, including conveyancing and mortgages

    * Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy workload using their own initiative.

    * Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    * Eager to learn, adaptable to new systems and ready to grow within the role.

    * Sales progression experience is desirable but not essential—we’ll provide full training.

    Ready to Apply?

As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, NCHA welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates. As part of our LGBT Allies Programme, we also welcome applications from members of the LGBT community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace. Priority will be given to colleagues in a redeployment situation.

Apply now and be part of something meaningful and help us make home ownership a reality for more people across the East Midlands.

Interviews will be held on 2 September 2026 at Clifton Place. Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a work-related test as part of the recruitment process.
