How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll work closely with customers to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and deliver commercially compelling proposals.

Acting as a trusted partner to both strategic and operational stakeholders, you'll manage opportunities from initial engagement through quotation and handover to our delivery teams, ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Anglian Water.

    *

Engage with senior decision-makers, commercial teams, operational managers, and site personnel.

    *

Understand customer drivers, site challenges, compliance requirements, and business objectives.

    *

Become a trusted advisor for rental pumping and temporary treatment solutions.

    Grow Sales Opportunities

    *

Identify, qualify, and develop new rental and treatment opportunities.

    *

Create technically sound and commercially competitive scopes of work and quotations.

    *

Present solutions that deliver value, reliability, and operational performance.

    *

Support tender submissions and framework-based sales activities.

    Manage the Framework Relationship

    *

Operate effectively within the Anglian Water framework structure and processes.

    *

Ensure opportunities progress in line with contractual and commercial requirements.

    *

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical, operational, and commercial expectations.

    Deliver Seamless Project Handover

    *

Coordinate successful transition of secured work to operations and delivery teams.

    *

Ensure project scope, customer requirements, risks, and deliverables are clearly communicated.

    *

Support strong execution and customer satisfaction from sales through to delivery.

    Drive Account Growth

    *

Develop and execute account plans to maximise opportunities within the framework.

    *

Identify upselling, cross-selling, and strategic growth opportunities.

    *

Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity.

    *

Maintain accurate CRM records and robust pipeline management.

We're interested in speaking with candidates who bring a blend of commercial acumen, technical credibility, and relationship-building skills.

    Essential
