How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Planning Administrator | Portsmouth, PO6 | £28,000–£31,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + Christmas Bonus | Full-Time Permanent

    Are you a Planning Administrator with strong ERP system experience and excellent organisational skills?

    A well-established specialist electronics manufacturing business in Portsmouth is looking for a Planning Administrator to join its Production Planning team. Working within a team of five and reporting to the Planning Manager, you will help ensure materials and production kits are released accurately and on time.

    This Planning Administrator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with ERP systems, maintaining accurate information and supporting a busy manufacturing operation.

    Job Responsibilities

    Release production kits and materials in line with manufacturing requirements.
    Maintain accurate planning and production information within the ERP system.
    Support the Planning Manager with day-to-day production planning activities.
    Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or delays.
    Update production schedules and planning records accurately.
    Liaise with production, purchasing and other internal departments.
    Maintain accurate system data to support manufacturing priorities.
    Provide general administrative support to the wider planning function.
    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Demonstrate previous experience in a planning, production or administrative role.
    Have practical experience using an ERP system.
    Ideally have experience with Oracle, SAP or a similar ERP platform.
    Possess strong administration and organisational skills.
    Maintain excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
    Confidently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    Communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
    Work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
