How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Foot Mobile)

    Location: London
    Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
    Contract: Temp-to-Perm

    The Company

    Our client is a growing SME Facilities Management and Building Services provider delivering planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London and the South East.

    Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their maintenance team.

    The Role

    This is a foot-mobile position covering commercial buildings across London. A company-paid travel card will be provided, meaning there is no requirement for a van, fuel card or driving licence.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding on various air conditioning and HVAC systems within occupied commercial environments.

    Duties

    Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems
    Service, repair and fault-find on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and ventilation systems
    Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently
    Complete maintenance reports and compliance paperwork
    Ensure works are completed safely and in line with industry regulations
    Build positive relationships with clients and site personnel
    Assist with general HVAC and building services maintenance where required

    Requirements

    Essential

    F-Gas Category 1 Certification
    Relevant Air Conditioning qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
    Proven experience working on commercial air conditioning systems
    Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
    Good understanding of HVAC maintenance and compliance
    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    PASMA
    City & Guilds 2079
    Previous experience working within Facilities Management
