How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As an HRBP Specialist in the technology and telecoms sector, based in Birmingham, you'll focus on supporting the business by delivering strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. This role ensures the organisation runs smoothly by aligning HR practices with business goals.

    Description

    Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
    Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
    Manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary processes.
    Lead initiatives related to talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
    Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to inform decision-making.
    Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    Support recruitment efforts and onboarding processes as needed.
    Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.Profile

    A successful HRBP Specialist should have:

    A strong background in human resources, particularly in the technology and telecoms sector.
    Experience partnering a demanding CTO
    Proven experience in employee relations and HR strategy implementation.
    Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    The ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
    A professional HR qualification or equivalent experience.Job Offer
