How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A well-established construction consultancy in London is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager with a couple of years' industry experience. The successful Assistant Project Manager will join a supportive team delivering commercial, education and residential projects across the capital.

The Assistant Project Manager will support senior colleagues on larger schemes while taking increasing responsibility for smaller projects and defined workstreams. Responsibilities will include coordinating project teams, preparing programmes, monitoring progress, attending client and site meetings, maintaining project documentation and supporting procurement activities. The Assistant Project Manager will also help manage risks, track actions and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

The role will provide regular client contact and exposure to a varied portfolio, helping the successful candidate strengthen their technical, commercial and communication skills.

    The Assistant Project Manager

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:

Around two years' project management experience within a construction consultancy
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
Experience working on commercial, education or residential projects
A good understanding of the construction project lifecycle
Strong organisation, communication and report-writing skills
Progress towards MRICS, MAPM or another relevant professional qualification
A proactive attitude and the confidence to manage multiple priorities

    In Return?

The Assistant Project Manager will receive:

    £35,000-£45,000
    Excellent APC support towards chartership
    Potential hybrid working arrangements
    Exposure to varied London projects
    Ongoing training and professional development
    Clear opportunities for career progression
Support from an experienced project management team
