How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    class 2 ADR Cylinders - Ivybridge

    Job Responsibilities

    Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver cylinders safely and efficiently across local routes.
    Complete pre-start checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure.
    Load, secure, and unload cylinders in line with safe handling procedures.
    Follow all relevant transport regulations, company policies, and site requirements.
    Maintain accurate delivery records and complete paperwork correctly.
    Provide a professional service to customers, ensuring deliveries are completed to specification.
    Report any defects, incidents, or delays promptly to the transport team.
    Drive responsibly with due care for pedestrians, other road users, and site personnel.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with a current Driver CPC.
    Valid Digital Tachograph card.
    ADR licence in gas (2) packages
    Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles (cylinder or similar multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous).
    Strong knowledge of UK road safety and compliance with driving regulations.
    Ability to load and secure goods safely, following manual handling and workplace procedures.
    Good level of route planning and time management to meet delivery schedules.
    Clear communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and site staff.
    Comfort working in a physically active role, including safe lifting and handling where required.
