How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

CGi, LLC is seeking a strategic, market-focused product leader to serve as Vice President of Product Development & Strategy. This position will lead the strategy, development, positioning, and evolution of growing portfolio of five learning, data and technology-enabled solutions, including a flagship product with greater than 60% market share in its primary market. The successful candidate will build upon this strong foundation by scaling and evolving existing products while identifying opportunities for new product development, commercialization, and expansion into new markets and customer segments.

The VP of Product Development & Strategy will – in collaboration with Sales and Business Development - translate business objectives, market opportunities, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and product performance into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and investment priorities.

The position will lead product strategy, portfolio management, and commercialization efforts across the organization's learning products while partnering with executive, technical, marketing, sales, and operational teams to drive product success, innovation, and sustainable growth. This individual will also provide leadership to product-related staff and resources and will be responsible for building and developing product management capabilities as the organization’s portfolio and business needs evolve.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong experience in scaling SaaS platforms or other commercial technology products. Experience with learning technology, digital learning, LMS, EdTech, or related technology-enabled learning products is required. Understanding of the LMS market is strongly preferred. This individual will bring demonstrated experience developing, launching, commercializing, and scaling digital products and balancing customer needs, market opportunities, business objectives, and technical feasibility to drive measurable business outcomes.

    ·      Establish effective product governance and communicate product decisions, priorities, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership.

    ·      Lead, manage, and develop product-related staff and resources, while building product management capabilities and processes as the organization’s portfolio and business needs evolve.

    ·      Partner with technical and project leadership to translate product vision into actionable development priorities while maintaining scope discipline.
