Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to join a well-established client on an ongoing basis. Whether you're experienced with tipper vehicles or looking to gain new skills, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
The Role:
As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you'll be responsible for:
Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles
Delivering aggregate materials to construction sites, quarries, and commercial locations
Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while following scheduled routes
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to all health and safety proceduresWorking Hours:
Monday to Friday
6:45am start
Average 10-hour shifts
Ongoing, regular work
Pay & Benefits:
£250 sign-up bonus after completing your first 10 shifts
Weekly pay (PAYE or PAYE Advanced)
Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift
2-3 days of fully paid client training
Ongoing, reliable weekday work
CPC course and licence upgrade discounts for long-term drivers

What We're Looking For:
To be considered, you'll need:
A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
At least 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
A good understanding of health and safety procedures
Excellent timekeeping and a professional attitudePrevious tipper experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

£14.75 - £16.97 per hour
