Head of Enterprise & Operational Risk | London | Hybrid
We're on the search for an exceptional Head of Enterprise & Operational Risk to join a fast-growing, regulated fintech on an exciting transformation journey.
Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this is a senior second-line leadership role with regular exposure to the Executive Committee and Board. You'll be responsible for shaping and embedding the enterprise and operational risk framework, ensuring it supports both today's business and future growth across multiple regulated entities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Redesigning and embedding the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF)
- Developing practical risk appetite statements, KRIs, governance and control frameworks
- Building operational risk, incident management and GRC capabilities
- Producing Board and Executive-level risk reporting
- Leading operational risk scenario analysis for capital assessments
- Providing second-line oversight across operational, fraud and cyber risk
- Acting as a trusted advisor and constructive challenger to senior leadership
We're looking for someone who has:
- Extensive enterprise and operational risk experience within regulated financial services
- A proven track record of designing and embedding risk frameworks
- Strong experience with risk appetite, governance, controls and Board reporting
- Operational risk scenario analysis and capital assessment experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive level
- Experience in fintech or high-growth regulated businesses
