How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Graphic Designer - Permanent Role

Location: Elephant & Castle, London (Hybrid – 2 days per week)

    Salary: Up to £38,000

    Start: ASAP

I'm partnering with a growing digital marketing agency to recruit a Senior Graphic Designer who combines exceptional creative execution with a strong understanding of performance marketing.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative agency environment where you'll take ownership of creative across a diverse portfolio of DTC and consumer brands, working closely with performance marketers, strategists and clients to deliver campaigns that drive measurable results.

    The role will involve:

    • Leading the creative direction across multiple client accounts
    • Designing high-performing paid social creative, display assets, landing pages and digital campaign materials
    • Developing creative concepts and experimentation frameworks informed by performance data
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver commercially effective campaigns
    • Mentoring junior and midweight designers while helping to raise the creative standard across the agency
    • Exploring AI-powered workflows to enhance creative output and efficiency

We're looking for someone who has:

    • 4+ years' experience within a digital marketing or creative agency
    • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking alongside outstanding visual execution
    • Strong experience creating performance-led creative for paid social channels including Meta and TikTok
    • Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience working with DTC brands and growth-focused marketing teams
    • Confidence presenting ideas to clients and explaining the rationale behind creative decisions
    • A genuine passion for digital culture, emerging creative trends and performance marketing

What will make your application stand out?

One piece of feedback from the hiring manager stood out immediately, and I think it's worth sharing with anyone applying for performance-focused design roles.

Your portfolio will be the deciding factor.

Not because they're looking for the most visually impressive work, but because they want to understand how you think as a designer.

A strong portfolio should go beyond showcasing finished creative. It should clearly communicate:

    • The brief and objectives

    • Your creative thinking and approach

    • The rationale behind your design decisions

    • The commercial or performance results

    • What you learnt and how those insights influenced future work

    Please note:

    • Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the London office (Elephant & Castle)

    • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

If you're interested in finding out more, please send across your CV and portfolio or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
