How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Events Production Assistant to join the Events Team at The Birley Clubs.

The Birley Clubs operate some of the world's most iconic private members' clubs, including Annabel's, Mark's Club, George, Harry's Bar and Bath & Racquets Club. Renowned for delivering exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences, our events range from intimate member dinners and exclusive private celebrations to spectacular themed parties and large-scale productions.

As Junior Events Producer, you will play an integral role in supporting the Events Production team with the planning, preparation and delivery of world-class events across The Birley Clubs. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. From assisting with production schedules and supplier coordination to collecting materials, managing event logistics and supporting live event delivery, you'll gain invaluable experience while working alongside some of the industry's most experienced event professionals.

Success in this role comes from being a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed. While you'll have the opportunity to work on some of London's most spectacular events, you'll also be involved in the behind-the-scenes work that makes them happen—from steaming linens and organising props to carrying equipment, managing storage and supporting event set-ups. No task is too big or too small, and everyone works together to deliver exceptional experiences for our Members

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Events Producers with the planning, coordination and delivery of events across The Birley Clubs.
    • Assist with preparing production schedules, event documentation, supplier information and event specifications.
    • Collect, transport and organise event materials, props, costumes and equipment between Head Office, the Clubs, storage facilities and external suppliers.
    • Maintain and organise event storage areas, ensuring equipment and inventory are accurately recorded and kept in excellent condition.
    • Assist with deliveries, collections, post office runs and other logistical tasks required to support the Events Team.
    • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to help coordinate event requirements and timelines.
    • Attend events to assist with set-up, operation and breakdown, ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Update internal systems, budgets and event documentation, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
    • Support with administrative tasks, including preparing presentations, processing invoices and maintaining event records.
    • Work collaboratively with Club Operations, Private Events, Member Events and external suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
    • Be flexible in supporting the wider Events Team with operational tasks across all Clubs as business needs require.
    • Undertake any additional operational, logistical or administrative duties as reasonably requested. Please note that the responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may vary to meet the needs of the business.

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

    • Have a genuine passion for events and hospitality and are looking to build a career within luxury events.
    • Have previous experience within events, hospitality, administration or a customer-focused environment (desirable but not essential).
    • Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
    • Enjoy a hands-on role and are happy to assist wherever required, whether that's preparing event paperwork or collecting props from storage.
    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Can effectively prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Are flexible to work evenings, weekends and occasional overnight shifts in line with event requirements.
    • Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude and are eager to learn from an experienced Events team.

If you're looking to start your career in luxury events and want to gain hands-on experience delivering some of London's most prestigious member events, we'd love to hear from you.
