How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    THE ROLE
    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous bodyshop experience who wants to continue learning and become a fully competent accident repair technician. You'll work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience across multiple repair disciplines while receiving continuous support and guidance.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ·Assist with the repair of accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards
    ·Learn and develop skills across panel repairs, preparation, polishing, strip and refit, and general bodyshop repairs
    ·Work alongside experienced technicians on a wide variety of repair techniques
    ·Inspect vehicles and identify repair requirements under supervision
    ·Maintain excellent workshop housekeeping and Health & Safety standards
    ·Work collaboratively with the wider bodyshop team to achieve production targets
    ·Develop knowledge of manufacturer repair methods and quality procedures
    ·Build the skills and confidence required to become a fully qualified Bodyshop Technician

    ABOUT YOU
    We're looking for someone who already has some experience within a bodyshop environment and is passionate about developing a long-term career in the accident repair industry.

    ·Previous experience within an automotive bodyshop or accident repair centre
    ·This role is ideal for a Junior Bodyshop Technician or someone with entry-level industry experience looking to progress
    ·Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn from experienced professionals
    ·Good practical skills and attention to detail
    ·Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
    ·Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
    ·Keen to develop into a fully skilled Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician
    ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
