Description
As a Shift Plant Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling boilers, turbines and associated plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role involves using control systems to optimise plant performance, responding to alarms and operational issues, maintaining accurate shift records, supporting waste and material movements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Profile
A successful Shift Plant Operator should have:
Experience and understanding of boiler operations or a heavy industrial environment.
Strong commitment to health, safety and operational procedures.
Good teamwork skills and a reliable, motivated approach to work.
Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks when required.
Knowledge of computer systems and DCS controls would be advantageous.
Experience in process, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation engineering is beneficial.
FLT/FLS, BOAS, City & Guilds Small Thermal Plant, or similar industry qualifications are desirable.

Competitive salary of £39,779.76 to £43,791.16.
