How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences? We are seeking an inspirational General Manager – Entertainment & Guest Experience to lead one of our largest holiday resort operations, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes estate retail, amusement and arcade operations, themed attractions, facilities management, guest entertainment, and commercial services.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced senior leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume leisure or hospitality environments and has a proven ability to deliver commercial growth while creating world-class guest experiences.

    The Opportunity

You will shape the guest experience, drive commercial performance, develop future leaders, and ensure the resort continues to exceed expectations through innovation, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the overall strategic and operational performance of the entertainment division.

    * Drive sustainable commercial growth through revenue optimisation and innovative guest experiences.

    * Oversee estate retail operations, amusement and arcade games, attractions, entertainment venues, and facilities management.

    * Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through consistently high operational standards.

    * Develop, coach and inspire senior leadership teams and frontline colleagues.

    * Manage budgets, financial performance, forecasting and profitability.

    * Identify new commercial opportunities to increase revenue and guest engagement.

    * Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, licensing, gaming and regulatory requirements.

    * Build a culture centred around accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

    * Work closely with executive stakeholders to deliver long-term strategic objectives.

    About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially astute leader who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence.

    You will ideally have:

    * Significant senior leadership experience within holiday resorts, hospitality, leisure, attractions, entertainment or retail operations.

    * A strong track record of delivering commercial growth and improving profitability.

    * Experience leading multiple operational departments simultaneously.

    * Outstanding leadership, coaching and people development skills.

    * Strong financial and analytical capability.

    * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

    * A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

    * The resilience to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

    What Success Looks Like

    * Increased revenue and profitability.

    * Exceptional guest satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores.

    * High-performing, engaged and motivated teams.

    * Safe, compliant and efficient operations.

    * Continuous innovation across entertainment and guest experiences.

    * Delivery of strategic business objectives while maintaining operational excellence.

    Why Join Us?

This is far more than a General Manager role. It's an opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's leading resort entertainment operations.

You'll have the autonomy to influence strategy, lead talented teams, introduce innovative guest experiences, and make a genuine impact on commercial success. In return, you'll join an ambitious organisation that invests in its people, values strong leadership, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression.

If you're an inspirational leader with the vision to grow a thriving entertainment business while delivering exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you
