How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager looking for your next step? We're recruiting for a Deputy Manager in Longfield, Dartford, offering from £24 per hour (£49,920+ per annum) for a 40-hour week, with a fantastic split of 22 hours working clinically as Nurse in Charge and 18 dedicated management hours each week.

    This is a great opportunity to join an established nursing home providing high-quality nursing and dementia care, combining hands-on clinical leadership with protected time to focus on the management and development of the service.

    Oversee care planning, medication management and clinical documentation
    Complete audits and support clinical governance and compliance
    Liaise with residents, families and external healthcare professionals

    A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
    A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Deputy Manager and/or Senior Nurse
    Strong nursing home experience
    Good experience supporting residents living with dementia
    Confident clinical leadership and people-management skills
