How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Covering SL and RG postcodes (Slough, Reading, Basingstoke)

    Standard Hours: Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week.

    Our client is looking for an experienced Responsive Multi Trader to join their Planned Works and Responsive Repairs team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services within social housing tenanted properties.

    Responsibilities and Experience

    Applications are welcome from experienced candidates with a Responsive Multi Trade background. Duties will include carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

    Responsibilities include:

    Carrying out a variety of responsive maintenance and repair works across tenanted properties.
    Basic plumbing, including the replacement of sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins and taps, along with occasional repairs.
    Tiling and patch plastering, including making good.
    Painting and decorating as required.
    Working within occupied social housing properties, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
    Using handheld devices or job management systems to receive and complete daily work instructions.
    Managing your own workload effectively and working independently.
    Following all health and safety policies and procedures.Requirements:

    Previous experience working within social housing and tenanted properties is essential.
    Proven experience carrying out responsive repairs across a range of trades.
    Full UK driving licence.
    Willingness to undergo a DBS check
