About the Teaching Assistant Opportunity
Astro Education is currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sandbach on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive school community, working closely with teachers to provide high-quality classroom support and help pupils reach their full potential.
The school is looking for someone who is proactive, positive and passionate about primary education.
About the Role
* Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1
* Work with individuals and small groups
* Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines
* Support pupils with varying learning needs
* Help promote positive behaviour and engagement
* Work closely with teachers and support staff
* Build positive relationships with pupils and parents
Requirements
* Experience working with primary-aged children
* Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
