How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marketing Coordinator
    Location: Braintree
    Department: Marketing
    Salary: £28-30K
    Employment Type: Full-Time

    The Role
    As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering a wide range of marketing activities across digital, print, social media, product launches, exhibitions, customer communications and internal projects.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who enjoys a varied role and has a passion for marketing, content creation and digital technologies. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously.

    Experience of a technical nature would be advantageous, whether gained through previous employment or education.

    * Previous experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Assistant or similar marketing role.

    * Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

    * Experience using marketing software and digital communication tools.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    * Strong organisational and project management skills.

    * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.

    * Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

    * Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.

    * Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    * Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, technical products or ideally the electrical industry.

    * Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design tools.

    * Experience managing website content using CMS platforms.

    * Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and digital marketing metrics.

    * Experience creating and editing video content.

    * Working knowledge of CRM systems.

    * Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly or similar platforms.

    * Basic understanding of automation tools and workflows.

    Technical Knowledge
    The ideal candidate will possess some technical understanding gained from either:

    Employment within the electrical, engineering or manufacturing sectors.

    Technical, engineering or electrical qualifications.

    Apprenticeship experience.

    STEM-related education.

    Experience producing technical documentation or product communications.

    Candidates are not expected to be technical experts but should be comfortable understanding and communicating technical product information.
