How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As a TA Specialist in the transport and distribution industry, you'll play a key role in managing recruitment processes, ensuring the business attracts the best talent. Based in Leicestershire, you'll support the human resources team in delivering efficient and effective recruitment strategies.

    Description

    Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to onboarding.
    Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide recruitment advice.
    Source and attract top talent using various channels, including job boards and social media.
    Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
    Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting for compliance and analysis.
    Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
    Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's appeal to prospective candidates.
    Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.Profile

    A successful TA Specialist should have:

    Previous experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, ideally within transport and distribution or a similar industry.
    Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.Job Offer

    4%/4% pension scheme.
