How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Shopper Marketing, Retail POS & Brand Activations Account Manager

    Northampton / London (Hybrid)

    £37,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Travel Expenses to London Paid

    We are delighted to be partnering a great marketing agency, based right here in Northampton.

    They work with some of the world's best-known cosmetics brands, taking their latest product launches, campaign ideas and brand objectives and transforming them into eye-catching retail displays that appear in stores and salons across the UK.

    One day a client might ask you to launch new products into John Lewis. The next, you'll help develop a new display concept for Superdrug or create permanent POS for leading salon brands.

    You'll become the link between the client and the creative studio, taking a marketing brief and shaping it into an engaging physical retail experience before handing it over to the project team to physically bring to life.

    One day you might just be strolling through John Lewis or pop into a hair salon for a trim and spot a display you helped create. It exists because of you and I bet you’d feel proud seeing your work physically come to life.

    If you've worked in shopper marketing, retail marketing, POS, brand activation or creative account management, you probably already know what that takes.

    What you'll be doing

    You'll become the day-to-day contact for leading brands, building trusted relationships and helping them bring new ideas to life.

    Your role will include:

    * Working closely with clients to understand new product launches, retail campaigns and marketing objectives

    * Turning client conversations into inspiring creative briefs for the in-house studio

    * Helping shape how products should be displayed in-store, balancing creativity with practical retail requirements

    * Reviewing artwork and creative concepts before presenting them back to clients

    * Managing multiple creative projects through the approval stages

    * Working alongside the Project Management team as concepts move into physical production

    * Building long-term relationships with clients and becoming an extension of their marketing team

    * Keeping projects moving while ensuring clients always know exactly where things stand

    What you'll be working on

    You'll support a portfolio of globally recognised beauty and consumer brands whose products appear in retailers including:

    * Superdrug

    * Boots

    * John Lewis

    * Professional salons across the UK

    * Travel retail environments (think Duty Free at Airports)

    Projects range from:

    * 2D Retail POS

    * 3D Semi Perm and Permanent displays

    * Counter units

    * Free-standing Display Units (FSDUs)

    * Product launch campaigns

    * In-store brand activations

    * Promotional displays

    * Seasonal retail campaigns

    We're looking for someone who...

    * Has been an Account Manager within a creative or shopper marketing agency or a brand executive from retail marketing environment

    * Has managed client relationships and understands how to interpret a marketing brief

    * Has experience with POS, shopper marketing, retail displays or brand activations

    * Understands the journey from creative idea through to physical retail execution

    * Enjoys collaborating with designers and creative teams

    * Has an excellent eye for detail and can confidently review artwork before client approval

    * Is organised enough to manage multiple projects without losing sight of the detail

    * Loves building relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to clients

    * Happy to travel to Northampton and London

    Experience with Adobe InDesign or reviewing artwork would be an advantage, but we're looking for someone who understands the creative process, rather than someone who wants to be a designer.

    Why apply?

    This is a genuinely collaborative business where good ideas are valued and people quickly become part of the team.

    You'll work alongside experienced colleagues, have regular exposure to senior leadership and play a visible role on a growing account with some of the biggest names in the beauty industry.

    Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to shape campaigns that thousands of shoppers will see every day
