Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Control and  Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established Glass Manufacturing organisation based in Ormskirk, West Lancashire on a permanent basis.   

This is a great opportunity to join the Architectural Engineering team who cover all aspects of projects from feasibility, specification, design and procurement to installation and commissioning.  

Salary: Competitive package based on experience, including 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension and more.  

Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Ormskirk or surrounding areas.  

Key responsibilities:
Deliver control and instrumentation engineering projects from design through commissioning.
Prepare technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
Manage equipment procurement, installation and contractor activities.
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement.  Your Background:  
Degree (minimum 2:1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng Status.
Experience in control systems, instrumentation and project delivery.
Knowledge of engineering standards and technical documentation.
Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
