How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Lime Blue Music is a leading global Neighbouring Rights agency, specialising in the management, collection, and distribution of performance royalties for artists, record labels, and rights holders worldwide. Representing some of the most respected names in music, we combine industry expertise, cutting-edge technology, and an unrivalled international network to maximise royalty collections.

    Role Description:

We are seeking a highly connected, commercially driven music industry professional to join Lime Blue Music as an Artist & Label Acquisition specialist. This is a full-time hybrid position based in the London area, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.

We are looking for someone with an established presence and reputation within the music industry, someone who is confident engaging with artists, managers, labels, distributors, lawyers, and rights holders at all levels. The ideal candidate has an extensive network, a deep understanding of the recorded music business, and the credibility to build lasting relationships with some of the industry's most influential decision-makers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and onboarding artists, labels, and rights holders who can benefit from Lime Blue Music's Neighbouring Rights expertise. They will confidently represent the company at industry events, conferences, showcases, and meetings while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from acquisition through onboarding.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of one of the world's fastest-growing Neighbouring Rights agencies.

    Qualifications

    • Established music industry network with strong relationships across artists, managers, record labels, distributors, publishers, lawyers, and other rights holders.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, A&R, label relations, artist management, neighbouring rights, music publishing.
    • A confident and professional presence with the ability to engage senior industry executives and represent Lime Blue Music at the highest level.
    • Proven track record of identifying commercial opportunities, generating new business, negotiating partnerships, and successfully closing deals.
    • Strong understanding of Neighbouring Rights, royalty collection, collection societies, and the wider recorded music ecosystem.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across the industry.
    • Highly organised with experience managing sales pipelines, CRM systems, and multiple client relationships simultaneously.
    • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
    • Passionate about music, artist development, and helping rights holders maximise the value of their catalogues.

    Interested?

If you believe this is the right opportunity for you and you're excited about helping shape the future of one of the world's leading Neighbouring Rights agencies, we'd love to hear from you.

At Lime Blue Music, we value genuine people, real industry experience, and authentic relationships. We do not use AI to screen applications, so there's no need to tailor your application for an algorithm.
