How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing international organisation operating within the healthcare and public sector markets.

The business is a specialist manufacturer of point-of-use water filtration and infection-prevention solutions, helping healthcare organisations protect patients, staff and vulnerable individuals from waterborne pathogens.

With an established international presence and significant growth across the UK, the organisation is now strengthening its commercial team and is looking for a driven sales professional to play a key role in expanding its UK market presence.

This is a high-impact, field-based role with responsibility for developing new business, growing existing accounts and building long-term relationships across the NHS, private healthcare, facilities management and water safety sectors.

    What You'll Be Doing

As the Area Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of your territory and be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Developing and delivering sales growth across the UK

    * Identifying, qualifying and converting new business opportunities.

    * Building and managing strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

    * Developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to increase revenue and market share.

    * Engaging with stakeholders across healthcare estates, facilities management, infection prevention, procurement and water safety.

    * Presenting technical and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements.

    * Supporting framework agreements, tenders and procurement processes.

    * Developing relationships with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, FM contractors and specialist water safety organisations.

    * Representing the business at conferences, exhibitions and industry networking events.

    * Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and providing regular activity, pipeline and forecast updates.

    * Acting as a professional ambassador for the organisation within the marketplace.

    The Candidate

    * Proven sales experience into the NHS

    * Experience of behind dealt with FM providers and property managers

    * A successful track record of winning new business and developing a sales territory independently.

    * A good understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes and routes to market.

    * Strong relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.

    * Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

    * A proactive, self-motivated approach and genuine appetite for winning new business.

    * The ability to engage confidently with both operational and senior stakeholders.

    * A full UK driving licence.

    Why This Opportunity?

This is a chance to join an internationally established and rapidly growing organisation at an important stage of its UK expansion.

You'll have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of a developing market, build relationships with some of the UK's leading healthcare organisations and directly influence the company's continued growth.

You'll also be representing solutions that have a clear and tangible purpose — supporting patient safety, infection prevention and the management of waterborne risks within healthcare environments.

For the right person, this is more than a traditional sales role. It's an opportunity to build a market, develop a strong network within UK healthcare and make a visible commercial impact within a growing international business
