How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    37.5hrs per week
    Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5pm & Fri 8:30am-2:30pm

    Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for a role where your decisions truly make an impact?

    A well-established and growing manufacturing business in Brighouse is seeking a talented Production Planner to join its operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to play a pivotal role in transforming customer demand into achievable manufacturing schedules while ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer service.

    Working closely with Production, Sales, Purchasing and Logistics teams, the Production Planner will coordinate manufacturing plans, manage priorities, expedite urgent orders and ensure materials are available when needed. You'll become a key link between departments, helping the business maximise productivity while maintaining excellent delivery performance.

    This role would suit a proactive Production Planner with experience within a manufacturing environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys solving problems, analysing data and driving continuous improvement.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Creating and managing production schedules
    Coordinating manufacturing workflows and priorities
    Expediting customer orders and resolving production challenges
    Liaising with suppliers and logistics providers
    Supporting operational efficiency and on-time delivery performance
    What We're Looking For

    Previous production planning experience within manufacturing
    Strong organisational and scheduling skills
    Confident using Excel and analysing data
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    ERP experience advantageous
