How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Artificial intelligence is transforming the legal sector, creating exciting opportunities alongside new legal, regulatory and operational risks. To support this evolution, a global law firm has created a brand-new Technology & AI Risk Lawyer position within its Legal & Risk function, offering the opportunity to help shape the governance of AI and emerging technologies across a global organisation.

As part of the firm's in-house Legal & Risk team, you'll advise on the legal and regulatory implications of adopting AI and emerging technologies, helping the business embrace innovation responsibly while managing legal, regulatory and technology risk.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing commercially focused legal advice on the adoption and governance of AI and emerging technologies.
    • Developing governance frameworks, policies and practical controls to enable the responsible adoption of new technologies.
    • Collaborating across legal, technology, procurement and data protection teams to support strategic AI and technology initiatives.
    • Supporting technology supplier due diligence, client technology risk enquiries and wider technology risk assessments.
    • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments, anticipating future risks and translating them into practical business guidance.
    • Developing training, reporting and practical guidance to strengthen technology risk management across the business.

You'll be a qualified lawyer (2+ years' PQE) with proven experience advising on technology, regulatory and risk matters and a genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies, ideally gained within an international law firm.

    You'll also demonstrate:

    • Strong understanding of technology risk, regulatory compliance and AI governance.
    • Commercial judgement with the ability to balance innovation against legal and regulatory risk.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and the confidence to influence senior decision-makers.
    • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships across legal, technology, procurement and business teams.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal or regulatory issues into clear, practical advice.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    What's on Offer?

    • A newly created role with the opportunity to influence the firm's future approach to AI governance and technology risk.
    • The opportunity to contribute to strategic AI and technology initiatives with global impact.
    • A collaborative and forward-thinking culture with genuine career development.
    • Hybrid working (3 days in the office).
    • Competitive six figure salary and benefits.
