How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Chester/ Uxbridge- Hybrid

    Pay Rate: £22.00 hour

    Atrium is seeking a talented Specialist Benefit Operation to join our People Services team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience through the effective administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and savings programs.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs across assigned markets, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and high-quality service delivery.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and retirement programs, including enrolments, eligibility changes, terminations, claims, and vendor coordination.
    • Act as the escalation point for complex benefits queries, providing expert guidance to employees, HR teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.
    • Maintain and update process documentation, local work instructions, training materials, and knowledge articles.
    • Support the implementation of new benefit programs, plan design changes, and system enhancements.
    • Monitor vendor performance, manage invoicing and payment processes, and ensure service levels are achieved.
    • Coordinate annual enrolment activities and benefits communication campaigns.
    • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, reporting, testing, and auditing activities to support compliance and governance requirements.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Support wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities related to benefits programs.
    • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, external vendors, and global Benefits teams to deliver effective solutions.


    Essential Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proven experience in Benefits Administration.
    • Experience working across multicultural and multinational environments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Good understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and benefits regulations.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


    Desirable Experience

    • Experience within an HR Shared Services environment.
    • Exposure to broader HR functions such as Payroll, Talent Acquisition, or Performance Management.
    • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Darwin, or Ariel systems.
    • Experience training, coaching, or developing others.


    Languages

    • Fluent English required.
    • Italian or Spanish language skills would be highly advantageous.
