How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We're now looking for a Buying Admin Assistant, to work in our Manchester HQ on our Saltwell brand.


    Responsibilities:


    • Managing sample arrival for new development and actioning factories development working closely with Head of brand and Senior design team, updating tracker daily. Communicating closely with each supplier/factory weekly, updating buyers and senior design, QC in weekly meetings
    • Manage all submissions filing, sample, backroom storage and showroom management
    • Co-ordinating photography samples and prep for campaign and ecomm shoots.
    • Co-ordinate all Contract and Saltwell post and distributing to the team.
    • Support the buying team with communication to suppliers regarding approvals, deliveries and sampling
    • Support in meeting prep by hanging, steaming, printing, prompting designers with CAD amendments
    • Conduct site walks to spot any issues on our platforms
    • Liaise with the Ecommerce team to support and ensure enrichment is complete
    • Liaise with design to ensure all overviews are accurate


    About you:


    • Fashion/Retail Industry Experience (minimum 1 year), ideally in a Buying Admin Assistant, Production Assistant, or Product Development role.
    • Familiarity with critical path management in a fashion retail environment
    • Demonstrated ability in meeting prep, filing, organising samples, and documentation.
