How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Project Coordinator (F&B and Hospitality Fit-Out)

Salary: Up to £40,000, depending on experience

    Location: Central London

    Working pattern: Office-based

Sector: Design-Build, retail, leisure, and hospitality interior fit-out

    About the Consultancy

This is a boutique client-side construction consultancy that has quietly become one of the go-to names in hospitality and retail fit-out. They deliver projects for well-known brands both across the UK and internationally, and they have built their reputation on getting the details right rather than shouting about it.

The team is small (and growing) but genuinely brilliant, the kind of setup where everyone adds real value and nobody hides in a corner. They work in the retail, hospitality, and leisure world, and they care about it. Steady growth means they are now looking to add to that team, which is where you come in.

It is a close, collaborative environment where you will learn a lot, quickly, from people who really know their craft. If you want a front-row seat on interesting projects and the chance to grow with a business that is going places, this is worth a proper look.

    About the Role

This is a great early-to-mid career role for someone who likes being at the centre of things. You will report into a Project Director and support the wider project management team, working closely with a Senior Project Manager to help deliver the full project life cycle across multiple live projects.

Day to day, you will be the person keeping projects on track through pre-construction, making sure the right things happen at the right time. That means site meetings and minutes, tender lists, cost reports, programme updates, and the steady stream of coordination that keeps complex projects moving. It is hands-on, varied, and genuinely central to how the business delivers.

It is a brilliant seat for learning. You will build real relationships with clients, contractors, and senior leaders, and you will see exactly how high-end fit-out projects come together from the inside. For the right person, there is plenty of room to grow.

Your days will look something like this...

    • Support Project Managers by tracking individual projects through pre-construction and making sure activities happen when they should
    • Arrange and attend site meetings where needed, and produce detailed, accurate site meeting minutes
    • Generate tender lists for projects, with support from the Project Managers
    • Check measures on drawings against measures stated in tender returns, and review any discrepancies with the Project Managers
    • Assist with the cost reporting process, including project-specific reports and budget trackers
    • Keep project programmes updated so all delivery dates stay on track
    • Provide weekly updated reports for clients
    • Support the wider team with project-related administration
    • Manage and improve the aftercare and handover process across the project list

You might be our perfect match if...

    • You are super organised and diligent, the sort of person who genuinely enjoys keeping the plates spinning (this is the heart of the role)
    • You have some experience in construction, fit-out, or a project coordination or administration role, ideally within retail, leisure, or hospitality
    • You have good Excel skills and are comfortable with cost reports, budget trackers, and spreadsheets
    • You can read construction drawings and are confident cross-checking measures against tender returns
    • You are a clear, reliable communicator who can build trust with clients, contractors, and senior colleagues
    • You are proactive and enthusiastic, happy to chase the detail without being asked twice
    • Any exposure to tendering, site meetings, or minute-taking is a real plus

    Why this one

    • Work alongside a Project Director and Senior Project Managers, learning from people at the top of their game
    • A front-row seat in one of the more respected client-side consultancies in retail fit-out
    • Real variety, working across multiple live projects for recognisable brands
    • Genuine room to grow your role as the business grows
    • A small, close-knit team where your work actually matters
    • A central London base, right in the middle of things
