How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Lambeth, South London
    Pay: £109 per day
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
    SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism & Complex Needs A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from September.
    This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs in a well-resourced and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the ARP team, class teachers, SENCO, therapists, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
    The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant within the ARP, you will:

    Support pupils with Autism and complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
    Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
    Promote communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
    Support pupils with sensory needs and implement individual strategies.
    Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals.
    Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
    Assist with personal care where required.The Ideal Candidate Will Have
    Experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) and/or complex needs.
    A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
    Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    The ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations.
    Experience within a primary school, specialist setting, ARP, or SEN environment is desirable.
