🎧 The Role
You will deliver high-quality Music and Music Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, including:
GCSE & A Level Music Technology (Edexcel)
NCFE Level 2 Music Technology
Music across KS3, KS4 and KS5
GCSE and A Level MusicThis role offers a particular focus on Music Technology, making it ideal for teachers with experience or interest in recording, sequencing, production software and studio-based learning.
🎶 Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inspiring Music and Music Technology lessons
Support students to achieve excellent outcomes across a range of qualifications
Develop students' skills in performance, composition and music production
Prepare learners for examinations, coursework and practical assessments
Utilise music technology, recording and production software to enhance learning
Maintain music technology equipment and resources
Contribute to concerts, productions, performances and enrichment activities
Work collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive department
Play an active role in the wider life of the school community✅ What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Music, Music Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching Music across the secondary age range
Strong knowledge of Music Technology and production software such as Logic Pro, Cubase or similar
A passion for Music and Music Technology education
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people⭐ Desirable Experience
Teaching Edexcel Music Technology and/or Eduqas Music specifications
Delivering NCFE Level 2 Music Technology or similar vocational qualifications
Leading choirs, ensembles, bands or extra-curricular music activities
