How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Learning Support Assistant – Secondary SchoolFull-Time | September 2026 Start | Bromley Area | £90.00–£130.00 per day

    Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND?

    We are currently recruiting for a fantastic mainstream secondary school in the Bromley area, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated LSA to join a supportive and welcoming environment from September 2026.

    The Role You will provide tailored support to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them access learning both inside and outside the classroom.

    You will work closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to provide personalised support, encourage communication and independence, and help pupils engage positively with their education.

    Some pupils may be pre-verbal or non-verbal, so experience supporting pupils with complex communication needs would be highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
    Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate in lessons.
    Work alongside teachers and the SEND team to provide personalised support.
    Encourage communication, independence and positive behaviour.
    Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
    Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. We're Looking For
    Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
    Experience working with pre-verbal or non-verbal pupils is highly desirable.
    Experience within a mainstream secondary school is beneficial.
    A patient, nurturing and positive approach.
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
    A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential.
