Job Role:       Mobile HGV Technician
Location:      Manchester
Pay:              £45,500 - £48,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications + VAN
Shift / Hours:  Mon-Thursday & Tues- Friday ot Mon - Fri days

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the North West is actively seeking to employ an experienced Mobile HGV Technician.  The role is available due to increased workloads/customer demands and they are looking to add to the team ASAP. Various shifts/hours available. Ideally you will be based in or around the Hyde area of Manchester as you will be covering the local area. All work is local with no overnight stays    

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties

• As a Mobile HGV Technician you will be working at both customer sites and our workshops based in the North undertaking all aspects of vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance and pre MOT preparation on a range of trucks
• Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
• Assisting at customer onsite clinics

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter experience / qualifications required

• You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
Previous mobile HGV experience is desirable
Any experience of onsite clinics would be an advantage
Ideally hold recognised qualifications in HGV or be time served on heavies
Looking to work for a well established, privately owned fleet maintenance company that are growing rapidly
