How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Working Electrical Supervisor
    Sector: Water / MEICA / Major Projects

    We’re looking for a strong Electrical Working Supervisor to join an exciting pipeline of major industrial works.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional who still enjoys being hands-on and involved with the work, while also having the experience and confidence to supervise teams, coordinate site activities and ensure work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

    The Role

    As an Electrical Working Supervisor, you’ll combine site supervision with practical electrical expertise. You’ll be responsible for helping drive electrical installation and MEICA activities on site, supporting the workforce and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.

    Typical responsibilities will include:

    * Supervising and supporting electrical teams and subcontractors on site

    * Remaining hands-on and assisting with electrical works where required

    * Coordinating day-to-day electrical installation activities

    * Ensuring RAMS and safe systems of work are followed

    * Monitoring workmanship, quality and progress

    * Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities

    * Working closely with site management and other MEICA disciplines

    * Identifying and resolving practical site issues

    * Helping maintain programme milestones and productivity

    * Promoting a strong safety culture across the site

    What We’re Looking For

    We want to speak with experienced electrical professionals who have progressed into supervision but remain comfortable working alongside their teams.

    Experience within water, wastewater, MEICA, industrial, process, energy or other complex engineering environments would be particularly valuable.

    You’ll ideally have:

    * Strong electrical installation experience

    * Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Working Supervisor, Chargehand or similar

    * A hands-on approach to site supervision

    * Strong knowledge of electrical safety and site procedures

    * Experience supervising trades and coordinating site activities

    * Good communication and leadership skills

    * Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications

    * Experience within MEICA or process environments would be advantageous

    If you’re an experienced Electrical Supervisor who still likes to be involved with the work and you’re looking for the opportunity to join a major flagship UK project with a strong pipeline ahead, we’d like to hear from you.
