How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Revit Technician - MEP Building Services

    Location: City of London
    Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
    Hybrid Working: 4 days in the office, reducing to 3 days after successful completion of probation

    An established building services consultancy based in the City of London is looking to appoint a talented MEP Revit Technician to join its growing BIM team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hands-on 3D modelling who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to be involved in the delivery of technically challenging projects across a variety of sectors. You'll work closely with engineers and BIM professionals to develop coordinated MEP models from concept through to construction.

    The Role

    As a Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of BIM models, including:

    Producing hands-on MEP modelling using Autodesk Revit.
    Creating accurate 3D models and detailed drawings throughout all project stages.
    Developing and maintaining coordinated BIM models in line with project and industry standards.
    Working closely with Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health engineers to ensure seamless coordination.
    Participating in clash detection and model coordination to resolve design issues.
    Supporting project delivery by producing high-quality, accurate models within programme deadlines.
    Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you'll have:

    3+ years' experience as a Revit Technician within an MEP or Building Services environment.
    Strong hands-on Revit modelling experience with the ability to produce coordinated MEP models independently.
    A good understanding of BIM standards and collaborative workflows.
    Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
