How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Temporary Creative Artworker - Stevenage

    Location: Stevenage (100% office based)
    Contract: Temporary assignment - up to 3 months
    Start Date: Immediate
    Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm) or part-time hours will be considered.

    Our client is looking for an experienced Creative Artworker to join their busy Graphic Design team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused artworker with strong Adobe Creative Suite skills to support the production of high-quality print and digital materials.

    Working as part of a collaborative Marketing and Design team, you will be responsible for producing business-as-usual artwork, ensuring consistency, accuracy and efficiency across a wide range of creative outputs.

    The Role

    As the Creative Artworker, you will provide reliable, high-quality production support across a broad range of design projects. The role focuses on adapting existing artwork, versioning, preparing assets for print and digital use, and maintaining brand consistency across all materials.

    Key Responsibilities

    Produce BAU artwork efficiently, including resizing, reformatting, amendments and versioning.
    Create print and digital outputs from established layouts, including brochures, event materials, PDFs, web assets and multi-version campaigns.
    Prepare artwork to required print and digital specifications, carrying out basic pre-flight checks.
    Apply brand guidelines consistently across all creative work.
    Maintain and update design templates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    Support production efficiency through effective file management, version control and asset library maintenance.
    Provide guidance on the correct use of templates where required.
    Identify opportunities to improve production processes and workflow efficiencies.
    Manage your own workload, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
    Work collaboratively with the wider marketing and creative teams.About You

    You will be a confident and experienced Creative Artworker with excellent technical skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

    Essential Requirements

    Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art & Design (Degree, HND/HNC, Diploma) or equivalent commercial experience.
    A portfolio demonstrating strong production and artwork skills, including versioning, typography, layout and print/digital outputs.
    Previous experience in a Creative Artworker or Artwork role.
    Experience producing high volumes of print and digital artwork.
    Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
    Experience working on Mac.
    Good understanding of print specifications and digital formats.
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    Strong communication skills.Desirable

    Experience using Canva.
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    Experience using email marketing platforms.
