The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive roofing maintenance, diagnosing faults, and completing effective repairs across a range of roofing systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance works across multiple sites.
Diagnose roof defects and determine the most effective repair solutions.
Complete repairs to roofing systems, guttering, fascias and associated structures.
Undertake basic carpentry and timber repairs where required.
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Measure roof areas and calculate material requirements accurately.
Maintain detailed job records and submit supporting documentation.
Work closely with colleagues, contractors and clients to ensure works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
Proven experience within roofing maintenance and repair.
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems and repair techniques.
Experience using SIKA roofing products would be highly advantageous.
Solid carpentry and joinery skills.
Ability to assess, diagnose and resolve roofing issues independently.
Good numerical skills with the ability to take accurate measurements and calculations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using digital systems to update job records and reports.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
