Housekeeping

Our client is seeking a meticulous and hard-working Housekeeping Assistant to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the exceptional standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests and visitors expect. You will be stepping straight into a supportive and busy operational team that values high standards and rewards reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the client’s exact standards.

Change bed linen, replace towels, and restock room amenities and complimentary items.

*

Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop designated areas efficiently and safely.

*

Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.

*

Handle guest requests promptly and politely, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

*

Ensure all cleaning equipment and supply carts are maintained, organized, and stored safely at the end of each shift in compliance with COSHH regulations.

Requirements

*

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar physical role is highly desirable but not essential.

*

A fantastic eye for detail and a genuine pride in delivering high-quality work.

*

Strong time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet room turnaround deadlines.

*

Good physical stamina, as this is a fast-paced and active role requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged periods on your feet.

*

Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a wider team
