HS2 is the largest infrastructure undertaking in Europe and our client, a leading main contractor, is looking for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on this landmark scheme. It's a genuine opportunity to work on a project with national impact, backed by the stability and scale of a top-tier contractor.

You'll own commercial management on a high-profile section of the project, working closely alongside the operational team to protect margins and secure every contractual entitlement going.

What You'll Be Doing

Championing a safety-first mindset across all project activities
Keeping delivery aligned with legal, contractual, and company standards
Reading the contract closely - managing risk and spotting opportunity
Building a solid paper trail to support entitlements
Preparing and submitting applications for payment and variations
Owning subcontract accounts from start to final account
Delivering accurate, timely commercial reporting
Supporting final account negotiation and settlement with the clientWhat You'll Bring

Solid QS experience
MEP background a strong plus
A proven NEC and infrastructure track record
Degree or HNC, or equivalent hands-on experience
A track record managing change and subcontract accounts
Confident working knowledge of NEC3/4 contractsThe Package

Up to £90,000 basic salary
£300/month car allowance
London Travel Allowance up to £10,000
