How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary Teacher

    Oldham, Greater Manchester

    September Start

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a Year 4 class in Oldham from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality learning while supporting the needs of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will create an engaging and positive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. You will work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and the wider school team to ensure all pupils receive the support and challenge they need to thrive.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.

    * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.

    * Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom where children feel confident to learn.

    * Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, using assessment to inform future planning.

    * Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents, and external professionals to promote positive outcomes for all pupils.

    * Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.

    * Uphold safeguarding procedures and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

    About You:

    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply.

    * Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4.

    * A good understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.

    * Experience supporting or teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs.

    * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

    * A caring, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching.

    * A commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

    What We Offer

    * A supportive and welcoming primary school with a strong team ethos.

    * Well-resourced classrooms and an inclusive learning environment.

    * Opportunities for continued professional development and career progression.

    * Dedicated leadership support and collaborative planning opportunities.

    * The opportunity to make a lasting impact on the education and wellbeing of Year 4 pupils.

If you are an enthusiastic and committed primary teacher looking for a rewarding Year 4 opportunity in a supportive Oldham school, we would love to hear from you. Apply today to be considered for a September 2026 start
