We're recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a welcoming supported living community in Danby, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and physical disabilities. The Role
As a Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, helping them achieve their goals and enjoy fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans.
* Encouraging independence while promoting dignity, choice and respect.
* Supporting individuals with personal care where required.
* Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation and household tasks.
* Supporting people to access the community, appointments, education and leisure activities.
* Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately.
* Working as part of a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care.
What We're Looking For
* A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a relevant health and social care setting.
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or physical disabilities.
* A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
