How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're recruiting for a Junior Digital Content Developer to join a collaborative and supportive team where you'll work alongside experienced developers, receive ongoing mentoring and have the opportunity to progress into a more senior role as your skills develop.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong digital, creative or learning content background who is keen to learn new technologies and build a long-term career within digital learning.

    The Role

Working as part of a growing digital learning team, you'll support the design and development of engaging, accessible digital learning content for a wide range of clients. You'll collaborate with experienced colleagues and subject matter experts to create interactive learning experiences using a variety of creative tools and technologies.

    Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of engaging digital learning content.

Create multimedia assets including graphics, illustrations, video, animation and interactive content.

Work with subject matter experts to turn complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand digital content.

Assist in developing eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 (full training provided where required).

Carry out quality assurance testing to ensure content is accurate, accessible and user-friendly.

Support the publishing and maintenance of learning content through Learning Management Systems.

Contribute ideas to improve digital learning experiences, creative design and development processes.

Support demonstrations, prototypes and other digital learning projects.

    About You

We're looking for someone with a creative mindset, strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in digital learning.

You may come from a background in:

    Digital Content Creation

    Graphic Design

    Multimedia Design

    Marketing or Creative Content

    Learning & Development

    Instructional or Educational Content

    Digital Media or Web Content

    You'll ideally have:

Strong visual design and digital content creation skills.

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or After Effects.

Experience creating multimedia content such as graphics, video, animation, web content or interactive assets.

The ability to interpret complex information and present it in a clear, engaging way.

Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

Strong communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, clients or subject matter experts.

Good technical aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new software and technologies.

Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, SCORM, Learning Management Systems, accessibility standards, UX design, HTML/CSS, Moodle or WordPress would be beneficial but is not essential, as training and mentoring will be provided.

    What's on Offer

    Hybrid working in Oxfordshire

Ongoing mentoring from experienced Digital Content Developers

    Structured training and career development

Opportunity to progress into a Senior Digital Content Developer role

    Collaborative and supportive working environment

    Company pension and additional benefits

This role would suit someone with strong transferable creative skills who is eager to develop their technical expertise and build a rewarding career within digital learning.

We are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
