How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you a seasoned professional looking to make your mark on a major infrastructure project? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join our clients team in East Suffolk. This is a vital role for the rail and civils scheme where you will lead the management of temporary works design, installation quality, and compliance.

    What You'll Be Doing

You'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring everything from scaffolding and trenching systems to line installations is managed to the highest standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing the full lifecycle of temporary works, including 'live' installations and providing technical leadership to the project team.
Maintaining an accurate Temporary Works Register in line with BS5975:2019 standards and ensuring all design checks are properly documented.
Collaborating closely with designers, construction managers, and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant technical solutions.
Conducting rigorous quality and compliance audits, producing Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and managing hold points to guarantee site safety.
Acting as a central point of contact to resolve design changes and ensure the construction programme remains on track.

    Who Are We Looking For?

We need a proactive, organised leader who can stay calm under pressure. To excel in this role, you should have:

At least 3 years of experience as a TWC on complex rail infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
A valid CITB Temporary Works Coordinator training certificate and a solid understanding of BS5975:2019.
Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or higher).
A valid PTS and CSCS card.
The ability to pass a basic DBS check for site security clearance.

    Conditions & Application

This is a super urgent, high-priority requirement with an immediate start date. We are offering a competitive daily rate of £340 PAYE (Inside IR35). The hiring process for this position will move very quickly. If you are ready for a career-defining challenge, please submit your application immediately to Becky by emailing or calling (phone number removed).
