How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, a growing hedge fund is looking to add a Fixed Income Treasury Trader to its London team. The role will be an attractive total comp figure.


    This is a front-office trading role focused on fixed income financing, repo, liquidity and collateral optimisation. The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers and internal risk teams to optimise funding across the investment platform while actively managing cash and financing opportunities.


    The role combines traditional treasury and financing responsibilities with active trading and relative-value opportunities across rates and fixed income markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute repo, reverse repo and other secured financing transactions across government bonds and rates products in multiple currencies.
    • Manage financing across bilateral, tri-party and centrally cleared markets, optimising pricing, collateral usage and haircuts.
    • Identify and execute relative-value opportunities across short-term rates, government bonds, swaps, futures, FX and cross-currency basis.
    • Actively manage liquidity and unencumbered cash, identifying opportunities to generate incremental returns while maintaining appropriate liquidity.
    • Manage collateral allocation and optimise the use of cash and securities across counterparties and trading portfolios.
    • Assess the true economic cost of trades, incorporating financing, margin, liquidity, capital and balance-sheet considerations.
    • Monitor funding maturities, liquidity requirements and counterparty exposures to ensure sufficient resilience across the portfolio.
    • Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Risk and external financing counterparties to improve overall capital and funding efficiency.


    Experience & Skills

    • Front-office trading experience gained within a hedge fund, investment bank, proprietary trading firm or similar markets environment.
    • Strong practical knowledge of repo and secured financing, ideally including matched-book trading, GC/specials and government bond financing.
    • Experience trading or managing exposure across short-term interest-rate products such as OIS, STIR futures and FRAs.
    • Broad understanding of fixed income markets, including government bonds, interest-rate swaps, futures and cross-currency basis.
    • Experience managing funding and liquidity across multiple currencies.
    • Strong understanding of collateral, margin, haircuts and the balance-sheet implications of trading decisions.
    • Comfortable assessing financing and trading opportunities on an all-in economic basis.
    • Good understanding of fixed income settlement, collateral movements, market cut-offs and failed-trade management.
