How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    DIAMOND BUYER/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST


    Position: Procurement Specialist

    The Procurement team plays a critical role in evaluating, sourcing, selecting, negotiating and quoting the best-quality stones according to business needs and priorities. We are seeking a commercial, passionate and dynamic individual to support the team and help drive daily operations forward with precision and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of experts working in a growing business environment.


    RESPONSIBILITIES


    As a Procurement Specialist, your main responsibility will be to leverage your product and industry expertise to accomplish the following missions:


    BUYING

    • Preparation of the buy sheets and the offer forms.
    • Negotiate prices.
    • Manage invoices and update final data in the system.


    QUOTING

    • Provide daily quotations.
    • Confirmed orders: put into production and coordinate with the relevant teams.


    STONE SOURCING

    • Source stones according to our company standards and business needs.
    • Identify, evaluate and build strong relationship with suppliers.
    • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and availability.


    AUCTIONS

    • Update the calendar.
    • Pre-sale research and preparation of the buy sheets.
    • Post sale follow-up.


    INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS

    • Weekly stock control and maintain inventory records.
    • Coordinate shipments with the logistic team and suppliers.
    • Stock-in (colour and parcel stones).
    • Track and audit certificates.


    SKILLS AND PROFILE

    We expect the successful candidate to have the following background and skills:

    • Previous experience in the jewellery industry
    • Diamond and gemstone knowledge: GIA diamond certification or similar and understanding of the market trends a plus.
    • Commercially driven, self-motivated and curious.
    • Highly organised and a keen eye for detail.
    • Work efficiently and accurately under pressure and have the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Problem solver.
