Contentious Construction Associate

A highly regarded law firm is looking to add a talented Contentious Construction Associate to its established and well-respected Construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a practice recognised for handling complex, high-value construction disputes on behalf of a diverse client base that includes developers, contractors, consultants, funders and public sector organisations.
You'll advise on a broad range of contentious matters, including adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution arising from major construction and engineering projects.
The team has built an outstanding reputation in the market, combining high-quality work with a collaborative and supportive culture. Associates are encouraged to develop their own client relationships and play an active role in business development, with genuine opportunities for career progression.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Between 2-6 years' PQE (applications outside this range will also be considered)
- Strong experience in contentious construction matters gained at a respected regional, national or international firm
- Experience of adjudication, litigation and/or arbitration
- Excellent drafting, analytical and client management skills
- A commercial approach and a genuine interest in construction disputes
