How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Events & Promotions Coordinator

    Contract Type: Permanent, Employed

    Full-time: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday

    Location: Office-based in Mayfair, London

Headquartered in Mayfair, London, the firm works with governments to support the strategic marketing, positioning and promotion of investment migration programmes, helping to attract responsible foreign direct investment through ethical, targeted and professionally managed campaigns.


    Position Overview:

    As an Events and Promotions Coordinator, you'll oversee all aspects of event planning, from conception to execution and post-event, ensuring seamless logistics and timely delivery of marketing elements. Your role involves coordinating events of varying scales and purposes for both the firm and its clients, requiring meticulous organisation and effective communication to ensure success. This role requires frequent international travel.


    Key Responsibilities:


    The types of events involved are:


    • Roadshows
    • Forums
    • Breakfast briefings
    • Dinners
    • Conferences
    • Exhibitions


    The above events are delivered against multiple timelines, budgets and vary in complexity. Duties will include and not be limited to:

     

    Events


    • Identifying relevant industry events
    • Creating exposure for the brands by creatively tailoring events
    • Maintaining a full industry events schedule
    • Putting together event plans
    • Researching events that fit the client strategy and plan
    • Collaborating with senior management and executives to determine objectives
    • Liaise and negotiate with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders before and during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
    • Coordinating all event logistics prior, during and after the events, including arranging visas, travel and accommodation for clients attending events.
    • Collaborating with the marketing team for design, layout and production of any event marketing materials, as well as planning promotions for events.
    • Providing post-event summaries to include attendance statistics, evaluation summaries, and budgets.
    • Liaising with external suppliers and agencies in line with regional events activity
    • Ability to identify relevant marketing channels and content for each event based on audience type and available media.
    • Providing quarterly reports for each brand
    • Travel required.



    Promotional gifting/display


    • Identifying relevant promotional gifting, novelty items and display branding material mainly used for events, but not limited to.
    • Working with suppliers to produce and brand the relevant marketing collateral.
    • Execution and maintenance of collaterals
    • Managing stock levels and display quality control
    • Sharing event stock report with accounts for budget control.

    • Understand the need to prioritise and manage expectations.
    • Comfortable operating under tight deadlines

    • Flexibility in working hours and patterns.


    Educational and professional qualifications required:


    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Events qualifications would be an advantage
    • Experience in event management
    • Good understanding of B2B and B2C marketing
    • Excellent MS Office capabilities, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Use of a project management tool such as Asana, Monday.com or Trello is an advantage.
